Vilnius Regata!

One more cheerful day.. Some more cheerful stuff :)
- CS rocks the world. I hosted Simo for one day and must say, this was pretty perfect once again. Walking around the oldtown, searching for old yards and churches that are not goldy, sleeping on the coast of Vilnele, Keistuoliu teatras and Antis show (it was so crazy to see how all the people are waiting for the old songs and with the first chords everyone begins to jump!)
- Milk coctails, cakes and old cartoons! Hip Hip! I can spend a day without alcohol! :D
- My little niece is probably the most beautiful baby in the world!
- mainly each day is a smaller or bigger festival now. And I'll be leaving Lithuania for Poland and Latvia quite soon..
- and finally, one of me dreams became true. I was swimming with canoe through all the Vilnius. That was perfect - how many times have I walked all those streets of the city, how many times I saw river Neris and at last I saw everything vise verca! We didn't won any prize, but at least we managed to finish almost backwards :)

Running!

Running as crazy and I love that!
Last few weeks were so full of activities that I'm feeling sleepless again. But hey - that's great! :)
If I already wrote something abour canoying, visiting Klaipeda and Menuo Juodaragis festival, there also were some more good things:
- visiting Laura in Kaunas, who is back from UK after 2,5 years. It's good to be back, huh?
- "Honeymoon" :)
- Parties with some crazy friends two nights in a row!
- Doom concert in Vilnius! Please, someone, organize more of such shows here! (I was beated in foosball by Ernesta and Kristina so hardly...)
- Corn maze! Wonderful idea! The maze itself was really easy to find the way out, but if you have a good compeny and decide to play some running games - you're into that for couple of hours!
- Medininkai castle and Lithuania's second largest mountain! It is written that it is mountain :) OK, let's say that small hill is mountain.. and let's say that wall is a castle.. However, evening was perfect again!
- I'm an uncle! My lovely cousin gave birth to small beautiful girl!
And all this before weekend when I should participate in Vilnius Regata canoying, Sostines dienos festival concerts, Simo from Switzerland visiting me, milk and cakes and animation party.. I love to live!!! :)

Beds are burning!

Do you kno what does it feel to remember the video, to remember the melody, but to forget band name, song name and the lyrics for the song you really want to hear? :D I was trying to remember this song for probably 3 or 4 months. And today morning I heard it on the radio! So, I simply can't not to put it here!!! Back to the classical poprock!

Menuo Juodaragis

Who is lazy! I am lazy! OK, life runs way too fast! And it's becoming very difficult to write somthing about all that.

However, starting with.. Menuo Juodaragis!

The purpose of these lines is to take some memories out of my head and to put somewhere where anyone could see them. Getting them naked? However, Menuo Juodaragis is annual festival which takes place in Lithuania and is dedicated to our history, to ancient religion and crafts. Music is one of the main things as well - folk, metal, pagan and anything what is not commercial (mainly). Lectures... Movies.. Nature.. Put all this in one and you get one of the best festival in Lithuania!

As I came to the place (wonderful island in north east of Lithuania) with a great company and some more great friends were already waiting for us, I must admit that I simply couldn't see all performances. So, friday night - Theodor Bastard rocked the house. Listen to them here! Vilkduja was something what was recommended for me. Heared them for the first time, but hey! hopefully not the last one :)

Saturday morning... Feel so sleepy, but.. The lake helped on that. All day long walking around the island and checking where is it possible to hide :))) Evening - my tribute to "must to see" list: Auli - crazy latvian guys; Atalyja - good as always; obtest - best pagan metal band in Lithuania, Andrius Mamontovas - legend and god of lithuanian music, say whatever you want, but this guy is still the best! And thanks for old Foje songs!; Spiritual Front - that was the most wonderful end a day for me.

I already want to go there next year again!
