Good going, man. Do you play in some band I don`t know of yet or is it just for "home and small office use"? :)
When I started learning playing guitar it was electric too. Strings just feel completely different. They're much softer, but not as much forgiving as acoustic strings :)
Good luck with your new purchase and make sure you don`t scratch it at least during first days :)
Heh, just "home business". Or let's say, band which noone knows at least some friends who comes with some beer at the right time :)
And both guitars have some special feeling when playing it, but having only acoustic one, I wanted some availability to get playing with not only the melody but different sounds and vibrations as well.

And now you need all that additional stuff to make your guitar sound different, to put some "effects" on it :)
Sure! I already have Roland guitar amplifier with some effects as well. Maybe will buy some more in the future (depending on the love to play) :)
