Hamburg!

Woohooo!! I made it! A three days trip to Hamburg is finished already and I must admit it was superb!

Even if it was hard to believe that there can be more than 2300 bridges in one city, now I can ask locals - is it really only 2000 of it? :)

I guess you can get scary seeing a very long story, so I'll try to make it as short as it's possible! So, everything started on some strange evening in Stockholm when I was feeling very bored. And then idea about visiting some European town came. After some browsing and time checking Hamburg became a leader for my plans. The next key thing was searching for local people who could offer a place to stay and some guiding help. OK, HC seems to be almighty on this ;) After this is the only one thing left - take a smile, as much energy as you can with yourself and let world show you the best it has!

Start in superb sofa caffe, that local weisse beer (how was it called?) and very good company silently promised that this weekend will stay in my memorry for a long time. The second day may be called 'acting tourist' day :) A long, very long walking the whole day and exploring the center of the city, resting in the incredibly beautiful places (just have to mention that Hamburg not only has lot of water but also it's one of the greeniest cities), having dinner in caffe located on some canal when swans are swimming around you.. And as it wasn't enough I got very good evening full of music :) After all this monday was like taking a city tour on a bus and remembering what was seen this weekend and what was missed (and maybe left for another trip to this beautiful place)...

Thanks to Ryanair for cheap flights, thanks Hospitality Club for helpful guys in the city, thanks to Katja and her friends for hosting me and great evening with guitar and attemps to create a new band :) Also big thanks to Tino and his lovely friends for very nice and funny company! You were great! ;)

P.S. Some open questions: what the hell is this those traffic-lights??? And another one: how many stairs did I had to walk getting into St.Michaelis's church tower?

P.P.S. if you're still have at least a small wish to see more - check couple of photos from these nice days!

Only the good ends!

Couple of minutes ago theory about non-existence of bad ends was remembered to me. This great thoery was created one nice and calm summer evening with the help of some friends and some beer too :)

So, it's quite simple: imagine the line with start and end points. Start point can be any time (up to your imagination - birth date, this day, etc.) and the end point is a good end! Now if you want to say that this end point can be bad end too, you're wrong! As this so called 'bad end' is only some point in the line we already draw, but it's not the end point! As the end point is only a good end ;)

Have a nice day!

P.S. As today is the day of consultants (and it's written 'consultant' on my work contract) I guess some more crazy theories can be invented today :) Or at least after this weekend - I can even promise that! :)

The feeling...

Have you ever felt like being totally sure about something very good happening to you...? ;)

Live shows!

OK, one of those good things living in Stockholm is music! 5 months spent here and I've already seen Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails and Within Temptation (actually just came back from this one and am pretty sure about hurting neck tomorrow). I've also seen the newest discovery for myself - local band Diablo Swing Orchestra. Have heard some rumours about upcoming concerts, but let's leave it for the nearest future ;)

However, if there's any interest you may find some of my photos on this topic here - NIN (07 04 08) and RHCP (06 12 12).

P.S. These bands and some of their songs for listening can be found here: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Within Temptation, Diablo Swing Orchestra.

OK, let's start!

After some thoughts on how to spread some of my adventures (or let's say something what has a bit greater meaning for myself than ordinary day) to my friends, this blog is born. And I really hope I will have wish enough to keep it up :)
